What brings us here
Having consulted with public and private sector organizations in North America, Western Europe and Southeast Asia on strengthening work cultures for change, we came to understand what works, what doesn't?t and why. In the process, we gained invaluable insights. We came together around the shared vision that our insights and experiences are important to share with women at this pivotal time when personal, organizational and global transformation are not only possible, but desirable.

In her own words:
In 1988 on a silent retreat seeking my life?s true purpose, I heard a clear sentence: ?You are here to bring the authentic voice of the feminine to arenas of decision-making to help re-balance the planet.? Since then, my focus has been in service to that mission.

In preparation for this work with women, I learned how to influence corporate decision-making as marketing director for a computer manufacturer and found out how to ask for what I need during a decade spent negotiating public sector labor contracts. I discovered the geo-political dimensions of being a woman with power as an elected public official on municipal, state and national levels. In the process, I acquired graduate degrees in organization development and conflict resolution from American and Harvard Universities. During this era of profound shift in women?s access to positions of leadership, my curiosity to see if other women were having similar experiences to mine led me to interview over 1500 women on four continents. They described their experiences accessing positions of influence and exercising power once they got there which resulted in my appointment as Visiting Scholar at the Centers for Research on Women at Wellesley College.

I have practiced international consulting and coaching for twenty-five years and developed and for the past five years, teach a university-level career coaching certificate program. In the course of learning together, you will undoubtedly hear about the cross-cultural women?s journeys I led to Celtic Countries, my commitment to international peace, my seven grandchildren and Reiki.

In her own words:
The journey that has led me to this work with women can be described as the emergence from darkness into light, from unknowing to knowing, from confusion to peace.

I grew up in German speaking Switzerland. Later, l lived in France and Geneva, where I worked as an executive in hi-tech sales and distribution, planned and implemented large-scale change in a health care system and took responsibility for the human systems during the demise of a dot-com.

At the same time I was studying addictive behaviors and the healing arts, including the homeopathic use of plants and essences, as well as healing body practices, which I wove into my holistic therapy practice.

Although I was leading a so-called successful life, it felt as if I were living in the dark. Like most people around me, I kept bumping into others and getting hurt in the process. I was told this was the natural order of things. It seemed that the whole world was functioning according to the laws of ?bump and hurt?, yet my inner voice kept questioning them and searching for other ways to live.

By sheer grace disguised as serendipity, I was shown the light switch, when a wise teacher introduced me to ancient knowledge and a timeless technique of Meditation. My circumstances did not change, and to others my situation, job and relationships appeared to be exactly the same. But my perception of life changed so profoundly that it felt as if the world had shifted and all the lights had been turned on.

I devoted years to the study and practice of the science of human consciousness, learning that we are not isolated, but interconnected. I realized that nothing was wrong with me or with anyone else. Life was unfolding exactly as it was meant to. Inner peace, joy and confidence became my constant companions. Today, I live ?with all the lights on?, and I dedicate my work to helping others find their light switch.
